The role and requirements of reinforced steel in PVC windows

The main function of reinforced steel in the structure of PVC windows is to improve the rigidity of the rods, that is, to improve the wind pressure resistance of the doors and windows, so the requirements for the steel lining profiles are relatively strict. The material for the steel lining should be carbon structural cold-rolled strip steel. After cold bending, the inner corner radius of the corner part is not more than 1.4X wall thickness, the wall thickness is not less than 1.5mm, and the allowable deviation of geometric dimensions should be within -0.5mm. The surface is galvanized or painted with anti-corrosion treatment. The geometry and size of the cross-section should be determined according to the shape and size of the main cavity of the PVC profile, but the size of the steel lining and the double-sided gap between the inner wall of the main cavity of the PVC profile The sum is not more than 0.5mm to ensure a good integrity between the PVC profile and the reinforced steel lining. The cross-sectional shape of the reinforced steel lining is shown in the figure below.

PVC windows’ Reinforced steel should refer to the content and requirements stipulated in the standards of the construction industry of the People’s Republic of China
1. Material and surface treatment: PVC windows’ Reinforced steel should be rolled with a material not lower than the mechanical properties of Q235 steel strip specified in "Carbon Structural Steel Cold Rolled Sheet and Steel Strip" GB/T11253-2007, usually Q215 steel strip with inner and outer surfaces Hot-dip galvanizing is performed, and the thickness of the galvanized layer is 7-8 microns.
2. Appearance: The inner and outer surfaces are required to be smooth, cracks, delamination, and lap welding defects are not allowed. The incision angle of the two ends of the reinforced steel should be less than 7 degrees, and the shape should be smooth, with clear edges and corners, and there should be no burrs.
3. Dimension deviation: reinforced steel material thickness ≥1.5mm, thickness deviation ±0.03mm; the matching gap between reinforced steel and the inner cavity of the PVC profile should not be greater than 1mm; reinforced steel bending internal angle radius R≤1.4t (t represents wall thickness); reinforced steel straight The degree is 1.5mm/m. The twisting degree is not more than 1 degree, and the angle deviation should not be more than ±1.5 degrees; the corrosion resistance should reach 48h level 8.
